Edii’s business and social entrepreneurship programs
Our programs have grown in popularity and we are committed to building programs, environments, and culture where young people thrive developing their passions, pursuing their ideas and developing the 21-century skills needed to be confident that they can and will make a difference.
Currently, our Maker2Market school holiday program runs in Canberra and in July launches on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. We plan to be in 3 more locations by the end of 2020.
Our Design thinking for social change and Design Challenges are school incursion programs that can be booked to run in any school in Australia.
Our current programs include:

School holiday program
Maker2Market is our three-day, school holiday, real-world, entrepreneurial business experience for 10-17 yr olds held in Canberra and Sunshine Coast, Qld. Explore a passion, create a business and learn to prototype before making hand-made products. Test the value of products/inventions at Old Bus Depot markets ( Cbr) and Eumundi Square (Qld) with real customers.

Pick your path program
Our Maker2Market pick your path is an exclusive opportunity for Maker2Market program participants who have completed our 3-day taster holiday program. It's a great 12 month pathway to use the skills learnt and keep putting them into practice. Pick from attending market days or taking up other short courses throughout a 12 month period to keep honing skills and experience.

One-day intensive workshop
Our one-day intensive workshop is our next pathway that helps young people ready to take their products online. The one-day intensive builds skills in photography, pitching, styling, proficiency using online tools and mentoring on financial costings. Included also is an intensive review of prototypes before going online.

School incursion program
Our intensive one-day workshop immerses students in design thinking. Young change-makers learn the principles + processes of design thinking, empathy mapping, deeply collaborate with peers, design useable prototypes and test their ideas and prototypes in the real world.

School incursion program
Design challenges bring together real-world stakeholders and Canberra students to tackle a problem/issue in our community. A one-day workshop experience where students learn design thinking skills and deeply define a Canberra problem, collaborate, ideate and develop prototype solutions with peers.
