Edii’s business and social entrepreneurship programs

Our programs have grown in popularity and we are committed to building programs, environments, and culture where young people thrive developing their passions, pursuing their ideas and developing the 21-century skills needed to be confident that they can and will make a difference.

Currently, our Maker2Market business Taster experience runs in Canberra in school holidays and our Maker2Market Online experience runs in school terms as a after-school option for creative teens. Our programs in Qld are on hold for a while as we are re-building after Covid pause.

Our Design thinking for social change and Design Challenges are school incursion programs that can be booked to run in any school in Australia.

Our current programs include:

School holiday periods

Our three-day, real-world, entrepreneurial business experience is for 10-17 yr olds and held in Canberra. Explore a passion, learn business concepts, create a logo, understand who is your ideal customer and why, learn to prototype before making hand-made products. Test the value of products/inventions at Old Bus Depot markets, Kingston ( Cbr) and Haig Park Village Markets, Braddon (Cbr) and Eumundi Square (Qld) with real customers.

After school (term time)

Our online short course helps young people take their products online. Personalized and individualized coaching includes 3 x 1 hr learning modules with a facilitator and 1 individual coaching session. Learning modules build skills in developing your business 'why', branding and positioning, examining your ideal customer and competitors before bringing this all together with your products into our new Maker2Market directory for young makers and advertising lookbook.

Pick your path program

Our Maker2Market pick your path is our pathways program for participants who have completed either the business taster experience or online experience. Choose from exclusive market day opportunities at commercial markets, retail experiences, lookbook advertising, discounts to short courses and more to keep honing skills and business experience.

School incursion program

Our intensive one-day workshop immerses students in design thinking. Young change-makers learn the principles + processes of design thinking, empathy mapping, deeply collaborate with peers, design useable prototypes and test their ideas and prototypes in the real world.

School incursion program
